Winfield Scott Kelley III, 69, of Rabbit Hash, KY, passed away at his home on Monday, January 23, 2023. Born in Covington, KY, on August 13, 1953, he was the son of late Flora Jean and Winfield Kelley II. Scott worked as an accomplished log home builder and was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and wood working. His final passion in life came in cultivating various kinds of mushrooms. Scott is survived by his wife: Jennie Shepherd Estes; sons: Winfield (Kristina) Kelley IV, Paul Kelley and Logan Kelley; daughter: Jessica Vogel; grandchildren: Winfield Kelley V and Bodhi Kelley; sisters: Annette (Warren) Brattain and Jill Trenkamp; uncle/brother: Allen Taylor and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. “He went out with his boots on.” Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
