Obituary for William "Billy" Dean "Billy" Gullion

Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. Beloved son, life partner, brother and precious uncle, William “Billy” Dean Gullion left this world suddenly on Wednesday, October 12, 2023 in Milan, IN. He was 63 years old.

After graduation from high school, Bill went to work in retail where he gained knowledge to help him start his own business. After 3 years, he became owner, retailer and manufacturer of The Waterbed Loft where he partnered with his brother, Rick. He then moved on to management with Rite Aide stores where he suffered a disabling back injury.

Bill loved hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and anything to do with being outdoors. He often chose to view programs that involved survival skills and or nature. The T.V. program Mountain Men was one of his favorites.

Bill was quite the prankster and a joker as well. His nieces and nephews became his most favorite targets for his pranks and jokes. He loved spending time with his family. For the past nine years, Bill has been blessed to share his life with his life-partner, Patricia Canfield and her son, Jason Wullkotte.

Preceding Bill in death is his father, Billy Don Gullion.

He leaves behind his mother, Phyllis (Tony) Hartford, his life-partner, Patricia Canfield, sister, Debbie (George) Apostol, brother, Rick (Cassie) Gullion, nieces and nephews, Ashley (Curt) Dugle, Ricky (Courtney) Gullion, Nick (Amanda) Apostol, Ali (Jacob) Dobson, Ryan (Jenny) Gullion, and Rachel Gullion, great nieces and nephews, Madison Jackson, Elijah Gullion, Uriah Gullion, Hank Dugle, Huxton Gullion, and Ziley Gullion.

In II Corinthians 5, Apostole Paul writes to assure believers, that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.

A private celebration of life will be held in private for his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Bill D. Gullion to Matthews 25 Ministries at 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
