A cherished mother, sister and grandmother, Shirley Mae Bishop (nee: Vaughan), passed away on October 22, 2018 at the age of 83. She was born on June 3, 1935 in Covington, KY to the late William and Nellie Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her husband: Tony Bishop Sr., her sister: Joyce Cummins, brother: Jim Vaughan, and her grandson: Papito Catacora. Shirley is survived by her loving children: Debra Willman (Steve), Tony Bishop Jr., Mike Bishop (Mary), and Carla Bishop, her beloved grandchildren: Tiffany Bishop, Kimberly Bishop, Domanic Catacora (Kelli), Angela Catacora, Tony Ray Bishop, and Michael Kobe Bishop, her dear siblings: Vicki Rector (Tony), and Janell Ramsey, and 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thusday, October 25, 2018 from 11am until1pm at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th St., Covington, KY 41011. A service will be held following the visitation at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place following the service at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
