Shelby Jay Gross, Jr., 62, of Foster, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Born on April 18, 1960, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Bernadine and Shelby Gross, Sr. Jay was a 1978 graduate of Newport High School and went on to work as a carpenter for over 40 years. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to camp, fish and hunt. In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his brother: Arnold Gross. Jay is survived by his daughters: Deborah Gross, Sabrina Messer, Suziette (Nick) Miller, Marissa Winkle, Tiffany Gross, and Britany Gross; brothers: Dennis Gross, Tim Gross and Jerome Gross; sisters: Debbie (Ray) Schuneman and Marcia (Chris) Workman; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
