Ruby Edith Gardiner, 102, who lived in Bromley, KY for 40 years before moving to Golden Towers in Covington, KY, passed away at home in Petersburg, KY, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Born in Corbin, KY, on April 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle Morris. Ruby enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and traveling. She loved being able to celebrate her 101st birthday with her friends and family. Ruby also enjoyed the Mardis Family Christmas Parties and loved the attention and love she was given by all when she attended them .
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her Beloved husband of over 32 years: Russell Gardiner; brothers: Bill Morris and James Morris and sisters: Pearl Bettis, Jewel Lingle, Margie Clark, Ruth Cochran and Jennett Miller. Ruby is survived by many nieces and nephews and large extended family. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
