Ronald “Ron” Phillip Reekers, 67, of Newport, KY passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas, KY. Ron was born on December 30, 1950 in Covington, KY to the late Quentin and Dorothy Reekers. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker of Local 24. Ron is survived by his loving sons: Scott Reekers, Kevin Reekers (Elizabeth), Ryan Reekers, and Brad Reekers (Amy), and his beloved grandchildren: Quentin, Emily, Landon, and Logan Reekers. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Ron on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm at the Newport VFW, 326 West 10th Street, Newport, KY 41071.
