Obituary for Michael "Mike" Ray Riesenbeck

Michael “Mike” Ray Riesenbeck, 65, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Covington, KY on September 5, 1956, he was the son of the late John and Eleanor Riesenbeck. Mike was a 1974 graduate of St. Henry High School and worked as a caterer for Gate Gourmet formerly Dobb’s House for 21 years before retiring and moving on to work security for Hollywood Casino. He enjoyed boating and camping. Mike also enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His family was his number one priority. Mike will always be remembered for his huge heart and wonderful personality; he never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor that light up a room. Mike will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers: Dan Riesenbeck and Tim Riesenbeck. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years: Katie Riesenbeck; his girls: Shannon (Craig) Johns and Laura (Ryan) Stewart; grandchildren: Trenton Barrett, Camden Stewart, and Harper Stewart; brothers: Tom (Jenifer) Riesenbeck; sisters: Donna (Will) Jones, Judy (George) Wisbey, Jean (Ralf) Tetzel and his devoted twin sister: Mary (Dave) Ball.
