Michael Kevin Meehan, 67, of Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Born in Covington on September 20, 1954, he was the son of the late John and Mary Meehan. Michael was a 1974 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Latonia, KY and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University. He worked in Facility Services for the University of Cincinnati for over 13 years before retiring. Michael enjoyed watching action movies and was also an avid reader, especially Historical texts and novels. He was also an animal lover who kept many pet dogs over the years. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister: Katie Meehan. Michael is survived by his sister: Joanne (Edwin) Hann; brother: John (Jena) Meehan; nephew: Eric (Sarah) Breetz; nieces: Aaren (Justin) Keel and Cullen (Shawn) Travers and 6 great nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 338 East 17th Street, Covington, KY 41014.
