Michael Stephen Lear, 72, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Born in Covington, KY, on December 19, 1950, he was the son of the late Louis and Virginia Lear. Michael was a 1969 graduate of Dixie Heights High School who went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Era. He loved hunting and taking hunting trips out west. Michael also enjoyed reading, especially books on History and Science. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother: Richard Lear. Michael is survived by his son: Ben (Jessica) Lear; brother: Timothy (Jo) Lear; sisters: Virginia “Jenny” (Rick) Switzer and Sharon (Larry) Everman and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
