Mary Lou Bryson, 80, a lifelong resident of Dayton, KY, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023. Born in Dayton, on August 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lil Richardson. Mary was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed painting, crafting and playing cards with her family every Friday night. She loved to laugh and have fun. Her best friend was her sister Janet, they were known as the “Lucy and Ethel” of the family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Robert Spradlin; 2nd husband: Robert Bryson; brothers: Charles Richardson, Ray Richardson, Howard Richardson and Bill Richardson and sister: Janet Sanzenbacker. Mary is survived by her sons: Timothy (Donna) Spradlin, Thomas Spradlin, Robert Spradlin and Brian (Peggy) Spradlin; daughters: Tammy (Craig) Cornett, Terri (Pat) Delaney, Tracy (John Estes) Spradlin and Barb (Tim Flynn) Spradlin; brother: Kenneth (Sylvia) Richardson; sister: Ruth Richardson; 26 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Dayton, 501 Dayton Avenue, Dayton, KY 41074.
