Margaret “Peggy” Alma McCarthy, 93, of Latonia, KY, formerly of Ludlow, KY, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on August 7, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Greenlee McCarthy. Peggy was a 1948 graduate of Ludlow High School and went on to work with Cincinnati Bell for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club and was a charter member of the Ludlow Bromley Swim Club. She enjoyed vacationing with friends and family and especially enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays with her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by brothers: Edward “Sonny” McCarthy, Pat McCarthy, sister-in- law Dodie McCarthy and nephew: Larry McCarthy Jr. Peggy is survived by her brother: Larry (Joann) McCarthy Sr.; sister-in-law: Susan McCarthy and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
