Jerold “Jerry” Lee Ketron, 79, of Sparta, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Born in Newport, KY, on April 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Elmer and Fannie Ketron. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and went on to work as a Welder until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and Building Ham Radios. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers: David Jones and Elmer Ketron Jr. Jerry is survived by his sons: Jerold (Teri) Ketron Jr. and Gary Ketron; daughters: Elizabeth (Paul) Durstock, Kim (Brent) McDonald and Jeri Ketron; sister: Beverly Ketron and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
