Jeffrey William Burgette, 70, of Burlington, KY, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN, July 2, 1952, he was the son of the late Herbert and Jean Burgette. Jeffrey was a dedicated and hardworking mechanic in the Automotive industry, with over 50 years of service. He worked with everything from cars to cement mixers and other heavy machinery. Jeffrey was a man of many talents. In his free time he enjoyed boating, sailing, traveling, scuba diving, golfing, photography, wood working, gardening and just “tinkering with things”. He will always be remembered as a good friend and great father. Jeffrey was patient, generous and giving, he was always smiling. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and whose lives he touched. Jeffrey is survived by his son: Anthony (Loreina Schutt) Burgette; daughters: Elizabeth Thompson and Wendy (Adrian) Quinn; brother: Chris Burgette; sisters: Linda (Dave) Lesher and Robin (Tom) Hawkins; grandchildren: Ember Burgette, Mylo Burgette, Jonah Burgette, Londyn Thompson, Adalyn Thompson, Fiona Quinn, Liam Quinn and Neve Quinn and his adopted Maine Coon Cat and best friend: Killer.
