Helen Marie Rynd, 84, of Burlington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born in Bedford, County, VA, on May 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Bryant and Dora Meador. Helen was a dedicate member of the Taylor Mill Seventh Day Adventist Church who helped the needy with clothing and volunteered in the churches food pantry and serving meals to the homeless. She was a breast cancer survivor who was an active volunteer in cancer awareness groups and even met the First Lady of Kentucky at an event for her tireless service to others. Helen enjoyed traveling and fishing. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Robert Gray; 2nd husband: Edwin Rynd; son: Robert Gray; brothers: Richard Meador, Sr., Leonard Meador, John Meador, Robert Meador and Nahlon Meador and sisters: Mary Meador, Mildred Meador and Helen Meador. Helen is survived by her sons: William (Josephine) Gray and Mark (Linda Brown) Gray; daughter: Donna (Jack) Keyes; brother: Tony Meador; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
