Gerald “Jerry” Richard Thompson, 62, of Dayton, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Born in Cincinnati, OH, March 4, 1959, he was the son of the late Richard and Faye Thompson. Jerry attended high Withrow High School. He worked as a contractor rehabing homes for over 40 years. Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sisters: Judy Woodward and Hope Thompson and granddaughter: Haley Binge. Jerry is survived by his fiancée: Beth Gabbard; sons: Matthew (Andrea) Ghrlein, John Thompson and Hunter Thompson; daughters: Marie (Matt Harness) Thompson, Hope (David) McBride) Thompson, Cheyenne Thompson and Nicole Thompson; step-daughter: Jessica Gabbard; brothers: Boyd Thompson, James Thompson and Paskel Thompson; sister: Theresa (Troy) Weber; grandchildren: Anthony, Wesley, Mackenzie, Lauren, Paige and Peyton and great-grandson: Jaxon. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
