Genia “Jeannie” Lee Robertson, 74, of Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Born in Covington, KY, on April 3, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Cora Hamilton. Jeannie retired from Speedway after 20 years of service and was passionately involved with her church, Hands of Love, where she did volunteer work. She enjoyed playing solitaire on her computer and going to the casino. Jeannie loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years: Donald Robertson; daughter: Lana “Peanut” Wright; brothers: Richard Hamilton, Daryl Hamilton, Alex Hamilton and Lee Hamilton; sisters: Betty Hamilton, Dorothy Hamilton and Jackie Wisemen and granddaughter: Alaylah King. Jeannie is survived by her daughter: Michelle Stephens; brothers: Doug Hamilton and Larry Hamilton; sisters: Judy Sholler, Virginia Hicks and Rochelle Hamilton; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
