Dual Allen Daniel, age 85, of Foster, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 with loved ones by his side. He was born on May 9, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Troy and Stella (nee Flynn) Daniel. Dual served his country in the U.S. Marines and went on to work as a carpenter later on in life. He greatly enjoyed tending to his garden, lending a hand to a friend or family member in need, golfing, horse racing and NASCAR. Despite the fact that Dual tended to enjoy his alone time, he still greatly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Dual is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mollie (nee Haller) Daniel; sister, Lorine Rasnisk; and brother, Ernie Daniel. He was survived by his daughter, Sherri Dixon; granddaughter, Sara (Anthony) Blaine; grandsons, Chris and Alex Dixon; greatgrandchildren, Sydney and Austin Blaine and Amelia Dixon; siblings, Ralph Daniel, Wilma (Parker) Kircher Slaven, Jerry Daniel, Jan Schramm, Phyllis Daniel, Glenda Harmon, Bill (Theresa) Daniel, Larry (Micki) Daniel, Sheila (John) Unthank, Peggy (Joe) Grayson, Dallas (Vicki) Daniel, Patricia Daniel and Valaira Hoskins; and many other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Cross Point Community Church, 210 W. 4th. St. Augusta, KY 41002, with a memorial service and U.S. Military Honors to follow at the church with Pastor Chad Current preforming. Additional military honor services will be performed at a private location where the family will greet friends and family for a private reception to reflect on Duals life.
