Obituary for Debbie Ann Walcott (Breitenbach)
Debbie Walcott, 56, of Greendale, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 9th, 2023.
Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Sander, on April 4th, 1987. She grew up in Greendale where she and Sander also raised their three children.
Debbie enjoyed watching soaps, taking golf cart rides, any Florida beach, playing cards, and 80's hair bands. She was known for her infectious laugh and smile, having a spotless home, and being an excellent cook.
Debbie was always kind and welcoming to friends and the many kids that hung out with the Walcott children on Ritzmann drive.
Debbie worked at Hinson Roofing and Hin-Fab, Inc. for many years as an Office Manager.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Larry Breitenbach, and father-in-law, Jerry Walcott. Debbie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Sander Walcott, daughters Amber (Derek) Walker of Greendale, Kylee (Joel) Scudder of Greendale, and son Kurtis Walcott of Greendale. Grandchildren Nora Walker, Elliott Walker, and Kirby Scudder. Siblings, Jamie Thompson of Lawrenceburg and Andrew (Lori) Breitenbach of Lawrenceburg. Mother-in-law, Judy Luke of Greendale. Nephews Jake (Anamaria) Kent of California, and Jaston Thompson of Lawrenceburg.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 2 - 6 at the Greendale Cabin.
