Those who had the great pleasure of knowing Dawn, couldn’t help but immediately love her due to her personality and her words of wisdom. Dawn was loved by many and survived by her daughter Nikola Lykins (Randy) and her four grandchildren; Travis Lykins (Kaelin), Trevor Lykins (Emily), Taylor Lykins, and Tori Lykins. While with her daughter and grandchildren they enjoyed making all kinds of special memories that will be cherished for their entire lifetime, they included: going boating, fishing, camping, and of course her favorite time with the girls included shopping, eating out, and getting their nails done. Dawn loved and cherished her family to a great extent; therefore, she will be greatly missed.
Dawn had a special place in her heart for hummingbirds. She enjoyed sitting outside and watching them, and always pointed them out. In her last days, many hummingbirds flew right up to her window visiting her.

“Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy, and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a Hummingbird we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of every day. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning, and that laughter is life's sweetest creation.” --Papyrus
