David J. Heim of Ludlow, Kentucky, age 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. David was born to the late Joseph and Ava Imogene (Rogers) Heim on July 21, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds play, going fishing, bowling with his wife and family, building his model trains, and most of all, David enjoyed attending church and created wonderful new friends in Christ with his wife after his salvation on January 25, 2018. David married the love of his life, Barbara on December 20, 1985. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother and friend who will be missed by many. David was survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara; step-sons, Raymond Hogan and Troy Hogan; grandson, Corey Fisk; brothers, Joseph Heim and Michael Heim; sister, Susan Heim; nephews, Mike Heim, Andy Heim, and Bryce Cambrose; nieces, Megan Shean, Trena Powell and Angie Adams; brothers-in-laws, John Roseberry, Mike Roseberry, Jack Roseberry and Dave Roseberry and sisters-in-laws, Doris Philpot, Virginia Popp, Becky Finley and Deborah England. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 W. 6th St. Covington, Kentucky with a memorial service to follow.
