David Clinton Watson, 56, of Walton, KY, passed away at his home on Friday, December 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Julesburg, CO, on March 22, 1966, he was the son of Clifford and Helen Watson. David grew up in Salida, CO. He graduated from Salida High School. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce from 1984 to 1994 with service in support of Desert Storm/Shield. While living in Texas, David was trucking in North Dakota. It was here that he met, Brandi. They moved to Attica, KS and were married in Harper County on August 11, 2017. They spent a year in Kansas before moving to Gillette, WY and later settling in Walton, Kentucky. He worked as a truck driver for 28 years before retiring. David was preceded in death by his grandchildren: Isabella Strutt, Isaiah Strutt and Asher Strutt. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his beloved wife of 5 years: Brandi Watson; sons: Eric Watson, Brandon Marks, Quinton Waagen and Thaddeus Waagen; daughters: Crystal Watson, Brianna (Ty) Strutt, Kai Watson and Auriella Waagen; brothers: Kevin (Darlene) Watson and Greg (Dana) Watson and Sisters: Natalie Watson and Koleen Martin and Grandchildren: Davian, Aniyah, Kloe, Kellen, Owen, Sharaya, Aurora and Baby Bowen due in January.
