Daniel “Dan” Joseph Steinhaus, 73, of Independence, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 24, 2023, surrounded by those he loved most. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on June 24, 1949, he was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy Steinhaus. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and went on to work as a flavor specialist for the Alex Fries Company. He was the beloved father to Aaron (Tabatha) Steinhaus and Nicole Steinhaus. Dan was known as “Grampy” to his grandchildren: Savannah, Cali, Lou Lou and Nate. Dan will be remembered as a great father and cherished grandfather.
