Cassie Elizabeth Penick, 44, of Covington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Born in Covington on February 15, 1979, she was the daughter of Kip and the late Linda Penick. Cassie was a 1997 graduate of Holmes High School and worked security for Newport Gaming and Racing. She enjoyed shopping, drawing, working in her garden, fishing and celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. Cassie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her father, Cassie is survived by her beloved husband: Nathan Brown; sons: Nathan (Anastasia) Penick, Malachi Brown and Nathan Brown Jr.; daughters: Ashley Deering and Skilar Brown; brother: Ray (Denise) Kampe; sisters: Veronica (Andy) McDaniel and Jodi (Tommy) Vucic and 5 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until the Memorial Service at 12:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
