Carolyn Jean Suttles, 84, life-long resident of Ludlow, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born in Ludlow on April 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Measner. Carolyn was a member of the Ludlow First Baptist Church. She retired from Commercial Union Insurance Company in 2000. Carolyn enjoyed walking her dog, sitting on her porch and talking to her neighbors for hours. Like her father, she was an avid Reds fan. Carolyn was also a music lover – especially the Bee Gees! She enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events and concerts when they were younger. In her later years, Carolyn developed a love for puzzle word books, TV crime shows and Little Debbie Snack Cakes, her children never made a visit without bringing some sweets along. She was loving, supportive and immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother: Raymond Measner. Carolyn is survived by her son: Randall (Lisa) Suttles of Edgewood, KY; daughters: Rhonda (Tom) Lantry of Ludlow, KY, Sharon (Terry) Burton of French Lick, IN and Carolyn “Nikki” Suttles of Gainsville, FL; grandchildren: Leah (Jason) Hildebrant o Ft. Mitchell, KY, Drew Lantry of Ludlow, KY, Rachel (Danny) Berkemeier of Venice, FL, Colin Suttles of Edgewood, KY, Chase Suttles of Edgewood, KY, Olivia Burton of French Lick, IN, Elise Burton of French Lick, IN Gavin Burton of French Lick, IN, Jesse Suttles of Germany and Riley Suttles of Gainsville, FL and great-grandchildren: Evie, Graham, Carys, Carter, Colston, Levi, Beau and Doss.
