Carol Sue McMillan, 76, of Dayton, KY, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Born it Ft. Thomas, KY on February 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Simpson. Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, smoking cigarettes and running around, shopping. She was always doing things for people and taking care of others. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sons: Jimmy Smitson, Donnie Smitson and Jerry Smitson; sisters: Nancy Young, Kathy Sutliff, Betty Long and Barbara Switer and granddaughter: Stacy Smitson. Carol is survived by her sons: Earl (Jennifer) Newman and Marty Smitson; daughter: Jennifer Newman; Sisters: Mary Sprout, Paula Scott and Cora Donward and 9 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
