Obituary for Carman Alan Hoskins

Carman Alan Hoskins, 78, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Born in Louisville, KY on February 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Coleman and Blanche Hoskins. In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his beautiful and beloved wife of 59 years: Bonnie Hoskins and brother: Gary (Glenna) Hoskins. Alan is survived by his daughters: Stacy (Michael) Eglian, Stephanie (Johnny) Links and son: Kevin (Michelle) Hoskins. He will always be remembered for his dedication, excellent coaching, sense of humor, loyalty and love for his wife, Bonnie and his family. This includes 5 very loved grandchildren: Tyler and Jordan Eglian, Jill (Michael) Geib, Matthew and Ashlee Hoskins. Alan also had 3 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Mason and Bailee Geib.
Alan proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp and went on to work as a truck driver in the oil industry. He also loved Jesus and loved to share that with others. Alan enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, dirt racing, video games, attending sporting events, talking about politics and sharing his love of music. He was always up for karaoke. Alan was an avid sports fan and dedicated to his beloved KY Wildcats, Cleveland Browns & Cincinnati Reds. But he was always the #1 fan of his children and grandchildren's teams. Alan was unforgettable and will be missed by many.
To honor this great man, please join the Hoskins family for a Visitation which will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) located at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011. Services will be officiated by Alan's Pastor, Gary Wilson. Interment with Military Honors at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. An After Life Celebration will be held at Anchor Church located at 3126 Riggs Rd in Erlanger, KY.
