Carlos Juan Calder Ortiz, 76, of Erlanger, KY, formerly of San German, PR, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Born in Lajas, PR on January 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Jose Calder and Ines Ortiz. Carlos worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life and loved nothing more than sharing moments with his family. He was a dedicated father who always provided what his family needed and lived to please his wife in everything that she asked for. In addition to his parents, Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years: Alicia Melendez and numerous brothers. Carlos is survived by his sons: Carlos Jose Calder and Juan (Berlytz Torres) Calder Melendez; sister: Sol Calder and grandchildren: Amber Calder and Daniel Calder.
