Bonnie Louise (nee: Walters) Woodfin of Park Hills, KY passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 89. Born in Berea, KY, Bonnie was predeceased by her parents Roy Nathan Walters, Sr. and Lillie Mae Walters. She was also predeceased by her only sibling, brother Roy Nathan Walters, Jr.

Bonnie’s career path led her to nursing where she served many years, mostly at the Northern Kentucky Health Department. In her retirement years she spent many fulfilling hours gardening, enjoying nature, traveling, and spending time with family. Bonnie, beloved wife, mother, grandmother/great grandmother, is survived by her husband of 70 years: William James Woodfin; daughters: Donna Maloney, Diana Dotson (Daniel), Vicki Jehn (Jeff), Shirlee Schambach (Mark Chase), and son William Woodfin (Shannon); grandchildren Matt Jehn, Kim Jehn-Harp, Susan Schambach, Philip Schambach, Dayna Schambach, Aaron Dotson, Anna Maloney, JJ Woodfin, Jackson Woodfin: step-grandchildren: Ashley Dotson and Christopher Dotson; great-grandchildren: Thomas, James & Lola Jehn; Finley & Cambelle Harp; Mason & Walt Schambach; & Sophia Dotson and step-great-grandchildren: Daniel Dotson and Dustin Dotson.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 3:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to St. Elizabeth Foundation, c/o Hospice Program, 1 Medical Village Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017. (Credit card option available on-line as well.)
