Anthony “Tony” David Schrichte, Sr., 58, of Covington, KY, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Born in Covington on June 5, 1964, he was the son of the late Charles and Shirley Schrichte. Tony was a graduate of Holmes High School and went on to work as a Sales Representative for Pepsi-Cola for over 35 years. He was a lifetime member of The Covington Church of God where he acted as the Children’s Church Minister and held a Kid’s Crusade for a week every year. Tony enjoyed camping, music, watching movies and family meals or as he would put it “Breaking bread with my family.” He was a dedicated family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Tony will be remembered as a Storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart bigger than most. Wherever Tony was, that’s where the party would be. Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years: Opal Schrichte; children: Jonathan (Chelsea) Schrichte, Jessica (Mike) Schrichte-Davidson, Leighanna Banks, Carolyn Springer, Teri (Dillon) Isbel, Anthony Schrichte, Jr., Timothy Schrichte, Freddy Schrichte and Esa Schrichte; grandchildren: Lainey Schrichte, Emery Schrichte, Matthew Springer, Jr. and Emily Isbel; sisters: Michele Schrichte, Kimberly Goodman and Diane (John) Garnett and a large extended family. A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at the Covington Church of God, 1103 Banklick Street, Covington, KY 41011.
